In this role, you will work closely with Account Executives, customers, vendor partners, and technical teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, create proposals, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has experience selling or supporting technology solutions within a systems integrator, managed services provider ( MSP ), value-added reseller ( VAR ), or manufacturer environment. You are highly organized, customer-focused, and energized by building relationships and helping customers solve business challenges through technology. What you'll own Engage with local vendor field representatives and technology partners. Research hardware and software solutions based on customer requirements. Collaborate with sales and technical resources, including pre-sales and delivery teams, to support customer engagements. Provide customers with quotes, pricing, and product information. Deliver consistent and timely follow-up throughout the sales process. Create detailed customer quotations and work closely with team members to process purchase orders. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Resolve issues related to returns, customer concerns, software downloads, shipping discrepancies, orders, and invoicing. Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues while maintaining a positive customer experience. Serve as a liaison between Ocean clients and internal departments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within ConnectWise CRM. Demonstrate strong business acumen, professionalism, and leadership skills. Requirements What we're looking for 2-5 years of business-to-business (B2B) experience. Experience quoting server, storage, networking, security, client, managed services, and professional services solutions for commercial and public-sector customers. Experience working for a Systems Integrator, Managed Services Provider (MSP), or technology manufacturer. Experience with Dell Technologies, EMC, SonicWall, and Barracuda solutions is a plus. Understanding of customer procurement processes and key decision criteria for winning new business and maintaining existing relationships. Knowledge of sales tools, processes, and customer engagement best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and executive communication skills. Highly competitive, self-motivated, and results-oriented. Strong customer presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Commitment to building strong customer relationships and loyalty. Collaborative team-player mindset. College degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
