Retail Sales Representative

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, providing expert advice on merchandise features and benefits. Manage product displays, planograms, and visual design elements to ensure attractive and organized store layouts that promote sales. Oversee inventory control, stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing POS (point of sale) transactions accurately. Implement merchandising strategies, including remodeling and interior design adjustments, to optimize product placement and enhance store aesthetics. Lead training and development initiatives for new staff members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement. Supervise daily store operations such as pricing, cleaning, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design projects related to branding or promotional materials. Skills Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to motivate team members effectively. Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse customers and team members across multiple languages. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Schematics, and Visual Design tools for creating appealing displays and marketing materials. Knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, merchandising techniques, and inventory management systems. Ability to manage remodeling projects or interior design tasks to improve store layout and ambiance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in training & development, store management, or administrative roles within retail settings. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math calculations, and stock control processes.
