They meet with potential and existing customers to present sales proposals and inform them of product benefits and features. The Retail Sales Representative will play a key role in increasing distribution and display activity by managing and negotiating with clients, research sales competition, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts Must be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG) Must possess good problem-solving skills Must be able to use an iPad/Tablet Must have trip planning skills and comfort with driving a commercial van (Ford Transit Connect or similar) Sales or consumer goods experience a plus

Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts Must be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG) Must possess good problem-solving skills Must be able to use an iPad/Tablet Must have trip planning skills and comfort with driving a commercial van (Ford Transit Connect or similar) Sales or consumer goods experience a plus Conduct professional product presentations to current Retail customers Stimulate market growth through new distribution and coverage in independent Retail C-Stores that are supplied by cash & carry and c-store distributors in assigned geography Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships Achieving sales goals and brand building presence and merchandising Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments Assists customers with ordering information and configurations; provides quotations on customer requirements and provides appropriate follow up Utilize iPad technology for reporting all inventory/sales made daily and weekly Perform any other appropriately related duty as requested by the Sales Manager Be able to drive a company van (Ford Transit, Connect or similar) throughout the work day Manage cash and client product inventory Must have a valid driver's license—no CDL necessary Ability to follow navigation/directions, communicate, and solve customer challenges that might arise
