What You'll Do Develop and grow new client relationships for a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) focused on IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and professional services Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, events, strategic partnerships, and follow-up activity Build relationships with business owners, executives, operations leaders, compliance stakeholders, and IT decision-makers Present the company's service capabilities, support model, security posture, and differentiators to prospective clients Conduct discovery conversations to identify operational, security, compliance, infrastructure, and business continuity challenges within client environments Partner with internal technical leadership and account management teams to align client needs with practical technology solutions and service offerings Manage the sales process from lead generation through proposal, agreement execution, onboarding coordination, and account transition Maintain and track pipeline activity, meetings, opportunities, and account development efforts within CRM and sales reporting tools Support long-term account growth through strong relationship management, strategic follow-up, and identification of expansion opportunities Professionally represent the organization in the marketplace and help strengthen regional presence and brand recognition What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, managed services sales, technology consulting, or professional services sales Strong preference for experience selling Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud Services, Microsoft 365, Infrastructure, or Compliance-focused technology solutions Proven ability to develop new business relationships and convert prospects into long-term client accounts Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, from operations teams to executive leadership Organized, proactive, and able to manage a structured sales pipeline effectively Experience using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, and sales engagement tools Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams while maintaining a strong client-first mindset Preferred Experience Existing business relationships within the New Jersey / New York market Experience selling into regulated and professional services industries Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, cloud migration projects, business continuity, and managed service agreements Understanding of recurring revenue models, managed services contracts, project-based IT engagements, and account management strategy Experience working within or alongside MSP environments or co-managed IT relationships Compensation This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission. Commission is tied to profitable recurring revenue growth, new client acquisition, and strategic account expansion, providing strong upside for candidates motivated by growth and long-term relationship development.
