Base salary plus Bonus;

$50-60K Base salary

Associate (Preferred) Position The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the office to meet customer load and revenue targets by developing long-term relationships with carriers, providing unmatched service in the transportation industry. The Carrier Sales Representative will strive to keep our company competitive and innovative while exemplifying the Mission, Vision and Values of the company. Essential Functions 1. Solicit potential and existing carriers to cover customer orders 2. Dispatching, Tracking and Tracing of shipments with carriers once loaded and relaying information to customers, to ensure issues are resolved timely and customers updated 3. Maintaining carrier relationships with the goal of growing the volume of business with key carriers 4. Carrier sourcing, recruitment, development and management 5. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with carrier contacts 6. Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth as budgeted 7. Prospect new carriers 8. Have competent understanding of how transportation systems operate, including order process, updates, and claim management 9. Support of A/R functions to ensure timely payment of service 10. Achieve budgeted targets for cases/loads and profit by assigned carriers 11. Communicate to General Manager as needed to update situations of concerns or to ask questions regarding an unknown area of responsibility 12. Have competent understanding of how various company software operates, with knowledge of the order process and reporting options 13. Communicate with sales team within division and outside to collaborate for opportunities 14. Live the Mission, Vision and Values of the company Qualifications 1. Positive attitude 2. Confident and persistent 3. Creative ability and imagination. 4. Ability to work under pressure. 5. Excellent presentation and demonstration skills both in a group setting and, on the phone 6. Command of PC Windows environment including Microsoft Office 7. Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to management, employees, corporate personnel, and vendors/suppliers. 8. Excellent analytical, problem resolution, negotiating and project management skills. 9. Strong organizational skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet established and changing deadlines.
