In this pivotal role, you will drive efficiency across sales processes and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, logistics, warehouse management, and customer order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help optimize inventory levels, improve process workflows, and support strategic category management initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and supply chain expertise will directly impact operational success and customer satisfaction. Duties Coordinate sales activities and support order processing to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery. Manage inventory control, stock levels, and warehouse distribution to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, purchasing, and contract negotiations to secure optimal pricing and supply continuity. Utilize advanced data analysis skills using tools like Tableau, SQL, and ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400) to generate insights on supply chain performance, demand planning, and logistics analytics. Optimize transportation management through planning shipments, dispatching freight via 3PL providers or NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and managing shipping & receiving operations. Lead process improvement initiatives by conducting root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions to enhance workflow. Collaborate with warehouse teams on materials handling, inventory management systems (like Warehouse Management System or MRP), and forklift operations to ensure safe and efficient warehouse practices. Support category management strategies by analyzing pricing trends, supplier performance, and demand forecasts for continuous sourcing improvements. Manage logistics documentation including contracts, freight bills, shipping manifests, and transportation management system records to ensure compliance and accuracy. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse experience and warehouse management systems. Strong data collection and analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), and supply chain analytics tools. Knowledge of transportation planning, freight forwarding (including NVOCC), procurement processes, and demand planning techniques. Mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management and contract negotiations. Ability to perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot operational issues effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including procurement, logistics, sales, and warehouse teams.
