Job Description

Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts through in-person customer engagement. This role is highly field-driven and focuses on building strong relationships with drilling contractors, oilfield service companies, and industrial clients while promoting Southwest Oilfield Products' equipment and consumables. About the Company Southwest Oilfield Products is a Houston-based manufacturer and supplier of oilfield equipment, specializing in mud pump systems, fluid end components, aftermarket consumables, and industrial MRO products serving customers domestically and internationally. Key Responsibilities Actively prospect and develop new business within assigned territory Conduct regular in-person visits to customer offices, yards, and job sites Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships Promote and sell: Mud pump systems and fluid end components Aftermarket consumables (liners, pistons, valves, etc.) Industrial MRO products Identify customer needs and provide technical solutions Prepare and present quotes, bids, and proposals Negotiate pricing and close sales opportunities Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, production) to ensure timely delivery Monitor market conditions, drilling activity, and competitor offerings Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) 2+ years of outside sales experience (oilfield, industrial, or B2B preferred) Strong knowledge of oil & gas operations or willingness to learn quickly Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory Preferred Skills Experience selling mud pump parts or drilling equipment Existing relationships with drilling contractors or service companies Knowledge of MRO products and supply chain processes CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) Strong technical aptitude
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
