Outside Product Sales Representative, Elko, NV Job Summary:
RAM Enterprise, Inc., a leader in the material handling industry, has an immediate opening for an experienced Outside Product Sales Representative position. This is a salary, exempt position in Elko, NV. Job Duties and Responsibilities include but arent limited to: This position requires a commitment to safety as our number one priority, and a strong dedication to producing quality work Maintain existing customer accounts in a highly effective manner for RAM Product offerings Ability to find and develop new customer accounts for all RAM offerings Effectively resolve customer service issues in conjunction with management Work with the sales team, and marketing department to develop sales strategies Comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook Fully understand and carry out verbal and written instructions Clearly and effectively communicate with staff members and customers Possess general knowledge and learn technical understanding of product lines that RAM promotes and the ability to communicate with customers the features and benefits of each Ability to obtain access to all regional customer properties Travel will be required Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Effectively manage multiple open quotations and bring them to order status Basic computer knowledge with experience with the following software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Compose internal documentation and work closely with the Customer Service Dept. on generation of quotations Effectively communicate activity reports for management describing customer contacts and pending business opportunities Communicate and obtain quotes from manufacturing partners and vendors Have a clear understanding of profit margins and how they affect the company Participate in annual budget process, including forecasting by product and by customer Deliver products to customers as needed Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Other job duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
Must reside in Northern Nevada3-5 years of experience in industrial/mining/conveyor related product sales requiredA valid drivers license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employmentPossess good communication skills, i.e., written, verbal, and listening RAM Enterprise, Inc. promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing.
