Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Sales Representative, where your enthusiasm and expertise will drive customer satisfaction and sales success. In this energetic role, you will engage with customers to understand their appliance needs, demonstrate product features through engaging demos, and provide expert guidance to help them make informed purchasing decisions. Your proactive approach will contribute to a lively retail environment focused on exceeding sales goals and delivering exceptional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. •Weekends and evenings required•Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their appliance needs through active listening and engaging conversation. Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and usage tips clearly to enhance customer understanding. Assist customers with selecting appliances that fit their preferences and budgets, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance. Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is inviting and well-stocked at all times. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times. Skills Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on appliances or electronics preferred. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff. Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases better. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions. Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions. Experience with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management in a grocery store or retail environment. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining professionalism. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
