Job Description
Holstein Association USA is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Regional Sales Representative to serve dairy producers throughout western New York . In this role, you'll work directly with dairy farmers to provide solutions that improve herd management, genetic progress, and profitability while growing the Association's products and services within the territory. Residence within the assigned territory is required.
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dairy producers and industry partners. Promote and sell Holstein Association USA products, services, and software solutions. Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts. Serve as a trusted advisor to producers by understanding their herd goals and recommending solutions. Represent Holstein Association USA at industry events, sales, shows, and meetings. Stay current on dairy genetics, herd management trends, and industry developments.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in dairy production, genetics, sales, or a related industry. Knowledge of dairy cattle management and genetics. Strong communication, relationship-building, and sales skills. Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory (60-75%). Compensation $62,000-$75,000 annually , based on experience.
