About Us BlindsRUs and Accent on Interiors are growing, family-owned businesses specializing in premium custom window treatments, drapery, shades, shutters, wallpaper, upholstery, and motorized smart home solutions. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, quality craftsmanship, and creating beautiful spaces for our clients. We are looking for a motivated, professional Sales & Design Consultant who enjoys working with people, has an eye for design, and is confident managing projects from consultation through installation. Responsibilities Meet with clients in our Hartsdale and Bedford Hills showrooms as well as in customers' homes. Travel to multiple in-home consultations and appointments each day. Measure windows accurately for custom window treatments. Design and recommend custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, wallpaper, and other interior solutions. Prepare quotes and proposals using company software. Follow up on leads and close sales. Coordinate projects from consultation through installation. Work closely with installers, vendors, and office staff to ensure projects are completed successfully. Build long-term relationships with homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors. Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends. Qualifications Sales experience is preferred. Interior design, decorating, or home improvement experience is a plus. Experience with custom window treatments is highly preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple appointments daily. Must be comfortable visiting customers' homes. Must be able to accurately take field measurements. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required. Comfortable using computers, email, and CRM/quoting software.
