Job Description

Largest Beverage Distributor in CNY now accepting applications for full-time position Large Format Sales Rep. to service the Greater Binghamton Area.
Objective:
We are in search of an individual who is highly motivated and possesses a strong work ethic to join our sales team, focusing in the Large Chain accounts of the market.
Responsibilities:
Properly service assigned account base, providing sales and distribution of our extensive portfolio of beverage products (beer, soft drink, wine, spirits & more). Develop and maintain positive relationships with all customers on assigned route. Maintain a regular schedule of weekly sales calls with all accounts. Solicit new business by visiting new accounts as they open; gain market share in existing account base. Properly merchandise accounts with permanent and paper POS. Conduct promotions in accounts when required; partake in special events. Execute monthly volume goals and task objectives. Assist accounts receivable dept. with account collections. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous sales experience required; previous experience in a beverage industry acceptable in lieu of sales experience. Must be able to work well under pressure. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be a team player, well organized, and detail oriented. Candidate must have outstanding communication and people skills. Must be able to obtain appropriate permits from NY State Liquor Authority and the NYS Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
Minimum education:
Associates Degree or 1-3 years in beverage industry.
