Job Description:
If you're tired of handling 1000 calls a day and want a change, you're going to love this job. At SmartEvals, you'll make a meaningful impact with just 1-5 calls per day. Your primary goal is to build relationships with our customers, guiding them through using our software, and training them on how to get the most out of our system. You'll be responsible for helping customers troubleshoot any issues they might encounter, identifying problems, and teaching them how to use the software efficiently. Additionally, you'll collaborate with our programming team to resolve any technical issues and ensure the system is working smoothly.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
  • 2+ years of customer service or technical support experience.
  • A passion for helping customers and solving problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with computers and technology (Online meeting platforms, Excel, Word, Google Drive, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn new software and technologies.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
  • Experience in higher education or working with educational institutions.
  • College degree (preferred, but not required).
Working Environment:
  • Casual dress code and a relaxed, non-corporate atmosphere.
  • Full time position, Monday through Friday (9:00 am to 5:30 pm) with flexible scheduling.
  • During our two busy seasons (end of Fall and Spring Semesters) you will be required to work 5 hours overtime, with occasional Saturday Shift
  • This is an in-office position at our Buffalo location: 435 Cleveland Dr, Buffalo, NY 14225.
Compensation & Benefits:
    Pay:
    $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending on experience).
    • Potential for raises happen twice per year.
    • 401(k) - after the first year, you are eligible for the 5%
    PROFIT SHARING
    contribution, this is not a match like other employers give. You'll get this whether you put money into your 401K or not.
