A well-established and growing organization is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support its business growth and relationship-building efforts. This full-time, in-person position offers a salary range of $60,000
  • 65,000 per year, depending on experience, and provides the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
This is not a traditional sales role. You will not be responsible for carrying a quota or closing deals. Instead, the Sales Support Specialist serves as the operational backbone of the business development process, helping leadership stay organized, prepared, and responsive as opportunities move through the sales cycle. The ideal Sales Support Specialist candidate is someone who enjoys coordinating projects, managing details, supporting executives, and helping teams operate efficiently. If you're the type of person who loves creating order, tracking moving pieces, and ensuring things get done correctly and on time, this could be an excellent fit. This is a full-time, in-person position in the Buffalo area with occasional travel as business needs require. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Support Support business growth efforts by helping maintain and organize prospect pipelines Assist with outbound email campaigns, follow-up communications, and meeting coordination Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospective partners and internal leadership Track prospect activity, communications, and engagement to ensure consistent follow-up Assist leadership with preparation for meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives Administrative & Project Coordination Maintain organized records, activity logs, and business development documentation Track action items, deadlines, and follow-up responsibilities Coordinate proposal preparation, presentations, and pre-sale documentation Assist with CRM updates, reporting, and activity tracking Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned Executive & Team Support Work closely with senior leadership to support growth initiatives Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external contacts Communicate updates, progress, and activity reports in a clear and organized manner Help create structure, visibility, and accountability throughout the sales process Qualifications High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of experience in sales support, administrative coordination, project coordination, business development support, executive support, or a related role Strong organizational and time-management skills Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Comfortable working independently and supporting senior leadership Ability to travel by air and/or car as needed Skills & Competencies Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar presentation tools Strong computer skills and comfort learning CRM systems and digital platforms Professional phone and email communication skills Strong administrative and coordination abilities Ability to manage deadlines, calendars, and follow-up activities Positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation ranging from $60,000
