New Home Sales Consultant Sales, Selections & Design Team Alliance Homes - Hamburg, NY Position Overview Alliance Homes is seeking a motivated and professional New Home Sales Consultant to join our Sales, Selections, and Design team. This role supports prospective buyers throughout the homebuilding process—from initial inquiry through homesite selection, architectural design, pricing development, and the interior selections process. The position combines customer-facing sales responsibilities with coordination alongside our design and construction teams, ensuring buyers receive a seamless and well-guided experience as they move from contract through selections and into construction. Over time, this role will also gain increasing exposure to sales strategy, pricing development, and overall sales process management, working closely with company leadership and the broader sales team. The position offers strong long-term potential for individuals who demonstrate leadership, strong sales performance, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of sales, residential design, and homebuilding, while developing deep expertise in the new home construction process. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Management Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective buyers via phone, email, and in-person appointments. Conduct buyer consultations to understand needs, budget, and lifestyle preferences. Present communities, homesites, and floorplans to prospective buyers. Guide buyers through the early stages of the purchasing process including homesite and floorplan selection. Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospects using the company CRM system. Pricing & Proposal Development Work with internal teams to prepare home pricing, option pricing, and buyer proposals for prospective purchasers. Assist in developing and presenting pricing scenarios based on homesite selection, floorplan options, and upgrades. Ensure proposals and pricing documents are clear, accurate, and aligned with company standards. Help guide buyers through the financial considerations of their home purchase. Selections & Design Coordination Work closely with the design and selections team to guide buyers through interior and exterior design choices. Assist clients in selecting finishes, fixtures, materials, and upgrade options. Ensure selections are properly documented and communicated to construction and design teams. Maintain organized records of buyer selections and change requests. Customer Experience Deliver a professional and high-quality customer experience aligned with the Alliance Homes brand. Educate buyers on the homebuilding process, timelines, and key milestones. Maintain ongoing communication with buyers throughout the selections and pre-construction phases. Product & Market Knowledge Develop strong knowledge of company floorplans, homesites, construction methods, and design options. Stay informed on local market trends and competing communities. Provide feedback to leadership on buyer preferences and product demand. Marketing & Lead Generation Assist with open houses, model home tours, and community events. Support marketing initiatives designed to generate qualified buyer traffic. Help convert digital and referral leads into in-person appointments. Qualifications Required 2-5 years of experience in sales, real estate, customer-facing roles, or residential construction Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with computer automated design Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously Professional presentation and customer service skills Weekend availability as required by the residential sales cycle Familiarity with residential construction or architectural plans Preferred New home sales experience Experience assisting clients with design selections or finish choices Experience with Computer Aided Design Software CRM or sales software experience Compensation This position offers salary + commission with strong income potential for individuals who excel in new home sales and client management.
