Job Description

Design and Sales Consultant — East Hill Kitchen Design Group East Hill Kitchen Design Group Purchase, NY Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $110,000 a year 20 hours ago Benefits Profit sharing Paid training Paid time off Qualifications Automotive sales Calendar management High-end sales Furniture sales Closing sales Full Job Description Design and Sales Consultant — East Hill Kitchen Design Group Purchase, NY • Full-time • Base plus commission ($100-130K OTE) We design and build high-end kitchens for clients across Westchester and Fairfield County. We've been doing it since 2007. We're not the high-volume shop that hands your kitchen to a contractor, and we're not the firm selling $300,000 showpieces. We're the one in between — premium kitchens, real design, attainable. Think BMW, not Ferrari. Here's the part most listings won't tell you: you don't need to be a kitchen designer to get this job. You need to know how to sell something that matters, and you need to want to learn a craft. I started as a cabinet salesperson and taught myself to design. That's the path this role offers. You'll lead client relationships from the first showroom conversation through the finished kitchen — and you'll learn the design side on real projects, working alongside people who've done this for decades. The selling, you bring. The craft, we'll teach you.
This is you if:
You've sold something considered — furniture, luxury auto, custom homes, high-end anything. Not transactional retail. Something where trust closes the deal. You build relationships instead of pushing them. Our clients choose us; they don't get sold. You're organized and you finish what you start. Design moves on a calendar here, and you'll own it. You want to learn a real trade, not just hit a number. What you'll do: Run the client relationship — discovery, showroom, design, through install Learn high-end kitchen design on the job, with the team behind you Keep projects moving on schedule Rebuild and grow our referral network of architects, contractors, and designers On pay: base plus commission. The OTE is real, and it's a ramp — your first year is about learning to design and building a pipeline, and your earning grows as you grow into the craft. We'll size the package to your experience and talk through the path honestly when we meet. Send a resume and a few sentences on why this one.
