Job Description

job summary: Growing company in New York is seeking a Dairy Capital Sales Specialist to cover central, western and northern geographies. The ideal candidate will have previous outside sales experience selling farm equipment, products or services to dairy farms. This role is base salary plus commission with a total compensation averaging 85-100K. Degree preferred but not required. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, 401K with company match and PTO. This is a field based role with a company vehicle. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Ithaca, New York job type: Permanent salary: $80,000 - 100,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Follow up on all sales leads and sell capital sales projects with little or no supervision Maintain an organized inventory on-site as well as within the company's SAP accounting systemDrive the sale of capital projects within the assigned regionEnter sales leads into CRM and follow up as neededCommunicate installation of equipment sold to the install teamCollect progress and or final payments for all salesMaintain all incoming and outgoing inventory accuratelyProcess all returns and warranty claims
Requirements:
A high school degree with two (2) or more years in a sales capacity within the agricultural industry, dairy preferred.
