Job Description

The Foam Guy & Son has been a trusted name in insulation for over 25 years, serving residential and commercial markets across the Northeast. We're a growing, established company offering a true career path for driven individuals ready to build something long-term. This is an opportunity for someone who understands construction, thrives in a competitive environment, and wants to take ownership of their income and growth. The Opportunity This role is built for self starters and go getters. Company leads are earned, not given upfront. You'll begin receiving them once you've shown you can confidently measure and estimate projects. For some, that's a few weeks, for others, a couple of months. It's performance based. Early on, expectations: Phone time, site visits, and networking Building your own pipeline through outside sales Learning and developing field estimating skills If you already have a pipeline, we'll help you convert it into insulation projects backed by a strong, established brand. What You'll Do Generate and close new business through self sourced leads Travel to job sites to measure, assess, and estimate projects Read plans and perform takeoffs (in-field or from blueprints) Build proposals and manage jobs through our industry-specific CRM (required) Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines with clients Stay involved beyond the sale you manage what you sell Develop long-term relationships with builders, contractors, and homeowners What We're Looking For 2-5+ years in construction, construction sales, or related field Comfortable on job sites and knowledgeable in building practices Ability to read blueprints (preferred but not required) Strong communication and negotiation skills Highly motivated, competitive, and self-driven Organized and capable of managing multiple projects at once Ability to perform accurate field measurements (tape or laser) Compensation & Growth Base salary + high commission potential (realistic $100K-$150K+) Commission tied not just to sales but project ownership and execution Clear path to grow within a company that is actively expanding Perks & Support Company vehicle after probationary period Fuel expenses covered Ongoing training in both sales and building science Backed by a well-known, trusted brand with 25+ years of credibility Full operational support we handle labor, materials, and execution Who This Role Is For Someone already in the industry who wants to represent a stronger brand Or someone with construction knowledge who wants to build their own market Someone willing to put in the work early for long-term payoff Important Note This is not a sit back and wait sales job.
