Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Used Inventory Administrator to lead our used vehicle inventory operations. This role is vital in optimizing inventory levels, streamlining procurement processes, and enhancing overall inventory control. A Used Car Inventory Admin will get involved with acquisition, pricing, reconditioning, and merchandising of pre-owned vehicles to maximize profitability and inventory turnover. Key responsibilities include appraising trade-ins, buying at auctions, managing inventory aging, and collaborating with sales teams to meet market demand.
Responsibilities:
Acquisition & Sourcing:
Appraise vehicles, source inventory from trade-ins, auctions, and wholesalers to maintain a balanced, profitable, and fast-turning inventory. Coordinate with the service department to ensure vehicles are inspected, repaired, and detailed efficiently, minimizing "holding time" to maximize return on investment.
Wholesaling:
Identify, appraise, and sell older or non-desirable inventory at auction to free up capital. Updating and correcting inventory descriptions/information in ACV Stocking new and used inventory in our DMS system Wholesale/swap billing Courtesy delivery billing
Requirements:
Knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation tactics, and category management principles Familiarity with demand planning, logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials management Ability to lift heavy items safely and operate warehouse equipment as needed Join us in driving excellence in used vehicle inventory management!
