Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face customers see when they visit our store, providing expert assistance on electrical products, managing sales transactions, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help drive sales growth while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting electrical supplies and equipment, offering knowledgeable advice on product features such as automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair tools Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting inventory control checks, and ensuring product availability for customers Maintain a clean, organized retail environment by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and managing stockroom areas efficiently Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while building strong customer relationships Use communication skills to explain product benefits clearly and answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with courtesy and professionalism Support order fulfillment activities by processing customer orders accurately and coordinating with warehouse staff when necessary Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, automotive service, and vehicle maintenance tools is preferred Excellent negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Familiarity with inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software Experience with retail sales management, POS systems, cashiering, and inventory control procedures Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication and phone etiquette Organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment processes, and maintain a tidy store environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record keeping and reporting purposes Dealership experience or background in automotive repair/automotive service is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while advancing your career in a fast-paced retail environment!
