Kenworth Northeast is currently looking for its next Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative. We need someone with a proven history in sales and relationship building. You could be selling a premiere truck brand with the support of a dealership built to provide customers with end-to-end sales, parts, and service solutions. Base salary of $25,000 to $50,000, with commission potential that can lead to total earnings of $100,000 to $150,000 5+ years of experience in truck sales or a closely related industry Proven Heavy Duty Truck B2B sales experience with knowledge of local markets and successful sales record Experience selling through dealer/distributor networks An individual who thrives in an ever-changing business culture A competitive professional that enjoys both the hunting and farming aspect of the role Ability to bring 65% of sales opportunities to closure Ability to uncover and clarify true needs, as well as the more subtle below-the-surface needs Ability to tailor the sales process and presentation Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills Willingness and ability to build proposals appropriate to customer needs Ability to create and implement a systematic approach to contact Willingness and ability to resolve customer questions and problems with immediacy Exceptional organization and time management skills CDL a plus As a Truck Sales Representative you will: Manage and grow relationships with owner operators and fleets of all sizes to maximize sales in your territory, calling on prospects and assigned accounts Stay current on market trends to provide solutions that meet customer needs Identify and profile prospects with a strategy to secure new business Cross-sell dealership services to meet the full spectrum of customer needs Partner with internal departments to identify appropriate solutions for customer issue resolution Stay ahead of industry and marketplace trends to be the go-to source of information for your customers Maintain sales records and report on phases of activity Coordinate with outside parts and service sales to achieve full market penetration Maintain open lines of communication with all departments regarding customer needs What you can expect from us: At Kenworth Northeast, our mission to provide an exceptional customer experience starts with you!
