About Stratus Building Solutions Stratus Building Solutions is a leading provider of environmentally responsible commercial cleaning services. We help businesses maintain cleaner, healthier workplaces through green cleaning programs and exceptional customer service. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to generate leads for our commercial cleaning company. This is a part-time field-based role focused on visiting businesses, introducing our services, gathering decision-maker information, and setting appointments for our sales team. This is not a hard-closing sales position. Success in this role comes from building relationships, creating opportunities, and consistently identifying qualified prospects. Responsibilities Visit local businesses and commercial properties throughout the Bronx and surrounding areas. Introduce Stratus Building Solutions and our commercial cleaning services. Identify and gather contact information for business owners, office managers, property managers, and facility managers. Schedule appointments for our sales team when appropriate. Distribute marketing materials and company information. Maintain accurate records of leads and daily activity. Follow up with prospects by phone or email as needed. Attend occasional team meetings and training sessions. Qualifications Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with new people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Reliable transportation preferred. Comfortable walking, canvassing, and working outdoors. Basic computer skills and ability to use email and simple CRM tools. Prior experience in canvassing, customer service, fundraising, retail sales, route sales, or lead generation is a plus, but not required. Compensation Flexible part-time schedule (15-25 hours per week). Hourly pay plus performance bonuses for qualified appointments and closed accounts. Opportunity for growth within the company.
