Job Description
Counter Sales Representative Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Operate the cash register and process customer payments
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area
Skills:
- Proficiency in using a POS (Point of Sale) system
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive parts environment is preferred
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and change
- Excellent sales management skills to meet or exceed sales targets
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and provide exceptional service
- Phone etiquette for answering customer calls and taking orders
