Job Description

TRAVELING SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Industrial Service contractor has full-time opening for experienced, self-motivated, and proven sales person with industrial sales experience. Person should have minimum of two years' experience. Candidate must have computer experience and have the ability to manage a multi-state territory. Candidate must have proven track history with references.
Requirements:
1. Candidate should expect to make face-to-face daily sales calls to heavy Industrial facilities in Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Greater Cincinnati 2. Increase overall sales in territory. 3. Develop new clients and call on existing clients. 4. Achieve sales objectives and goals. 5. Develop objectives by account and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels to maximize expansion and growth. 6. Ability to develop and implement sales presentations and travel to secure new accounts and maintain existing accounts. 7. Ability to entertain clients, working some evenings, if necessary. 8. Assist and participate in bid meetings with clients. 9. Assist and participate in quotation and contract negotiations with clients. 10. Candidate must have heavy industrial sales background. Our client base is directed towards large plants and factories in the steel, electric utility, pulp paper, chemical, petrochemical, automotive, and general manufacturing sectors. 11. Candidate must be very organized & self-motivated. 12. Travel overnight when necessary into assigned territory. 13. Candidate must have a past work history as a traveling sales person that made sales calls to heavy industrial plants and factories, preferably in the Kentucky marketplace. Pay structure will be base salary of $60,000-$75,000 with commission paid out quarterly
