This role is essential to supporting a fast‑paced, high‑volume sales organization by delivering exceptional service, ensuring operational excellence, and enabling sales readiness. As a Sales Support Specialist II , you will partner closely with sales and internal teams to drive customer satisfaction, business growth, and operational efficiency. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $23.76 and a consistent schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM . The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. The Sales Support Specialist II will play a key role in supporting both daily operations and long‑term sales initiatives. Key Responsibilities Operational Support Serve as a key point of contact supporting sales and customer needs, ensuring consistent delivery and customer satisfaction Act as an extension of the sales team by providing administrative and operational support to drive retention and growth Manage customer documentation requests (SDS, COA, TDS, ISO, W9, insurance, stewardship, surveys, questionnaires) Prepare and maintain reports including open orders, backorders, territory performance, and other sales reporting Coordinate sample requests and follow up to support new business opportunities Maintain accurate customer master data through regular audits and updates Support complex accounts and take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve Pricing & Product Management Manage pricing activities using internal tools, ensuring accuracy and timely execution Partner cross‑functionally to support product setup, forecasting, inventory alignment, and master data accuracy Provide sales teams with pricing insights, lead times, and inventory recommendations Initiate and track internal requests such as bids, forecasts, and payment terms Support efforts to improve pricing accuracy and reduce manual processes Qualifications High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Relevant combination of education and experience will be considered Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and CRM tools (Salesforce) preferred Prior experience supporting B2B customers in a customer solutions environment Chemical or distribution industry experience preferred Experience with SharePoint, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus Core Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Strong time management and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Cross‑functional partnership and relationship‑building skills Accountability, ownership, and follow‑through Sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision‑making ability High attention to detail and organizational skills Strong business acumen Adaptability and professionalism in a fast‑paced environment
