SUMMARY:
We are seeking a results-driven National Sales Specialist to join our growing Sales Team. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing sales expertise, love for travel, and desire to train/coach/lead new Sales Team members to make an immediate impact on driving sales, occupancy, and revenue across multiple communities. This position can include up to 75% travel, so the love/desire to be on the road, in different cities, on/off airplanes is a must!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide on-site (hands-on) sales assistance to communities in need of additional sales support. Shepherd customers through the full Sales life cycle - from qualifying leads, initial contact, community tours, handling objections, closing the deal, to follow-up and retention. Daily and weekly review of closing strategies. Foster a sales-oriented culture by participating in and contributing to sales/marketing efforts. Work closely with Leadership to effectively train, coach, and reward team members. Champion speed-to-lead initiatives with the communities in effort to exceed goals. Assist in the training/development of new Sales Directors and Sales Counselors Work collaboratively with department heads to emphasis a unified sales approach. Complete and analyze department-related reports to leverage data in a timely manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS
High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2-3 years within a Sales (or sales/service hybrid environment) Minimum of 1 year within a multi-site work environment Travel acumen - planning ahead and planning on the fly. Independent leadership; dependable, self-motivated. Relationship building and ability to build rapport. Demonstrated abilities in organization, communication, enthusiasm, and effective interpersonal skills. Agile mindset and ability to be flexible based on the ongoing needs and pivots of the business. Strong computer skills (navigating websites, spreadsheets, email, and other tools) A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Experience managing/leading Sales staff (highly desired) Property management and/or hospitality experience (highly desired) Existing knowledge and/or experience with Excel and Salesforce (highly desired)
