We provide Manufacturing and IT/cyber services, and advanced engineering solutions to multiple agencies and prime contractors. We are expanding our Government Contracts Capture Team and need a driven, detail-oriented professional who can help us secure more federal opportunities. Position Overview This is not a traditional "sales" job. This is a government opportunity hunter role. The ideal candidate loves digging into government portals, finding opportunities, preparing bid packages, coordinating with internal teams, and following up with agencies to win new contracts. You will work directly with executive leadership and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Search for new opportunities daily across: SAM.gov
DLA DIBBS
NECO/Navy eCommerce FedConnect GSA eBuy Other DoD and federal portals Download solicitations, review requirements, and organize all bid documentation Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and leadership to prepare quotes Submit bids and ensure all compliance requirements are met Monitor status of submitted proposals and follow up with contracting officers Track deadlines, amendments, Q&A periods, and award notices Update CRM tools and maintain an organized pipeline of opportunities Assist in registration, renewals, past performance documentation, reps & certs, etc. Support other government business development tasks as needed What We're Looking For Experience working with government contracting or procurement portals Strong understanding of solicitations (RFQ, RFP, IFB, Sources Sought) Excellent organizational and documentation skills Ability to read technical or manufacturing requirements (training provided) Strong follow-up and communication habits Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable owning the full process Experience with manufacturing or defense industry is a plus Familiarity with
FAR/DFARS
