At Fairfield Inn and Suites, we recognize the importance of and truly value our hardworking team members. As Sales Coordinator, you will perform a vital role within our operation and be a key driver of our success. The ideal candidate for Sales Coordinator will have at least two years of in the capacity of Sales Coordinator within a hotel environment and covering multiple target segments. Experience in each stage of sourcing, qualifying, booking, and seeing through to completion for both Groups business and Banquet and Catering business will is desired. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate and promote the best possible experience for our guests and employees. Perform as a primary driver of revenue to ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved for the hotel. Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships, with a service-oriented approach. Research, understand, and keep yourself up-to-date with industry and local competitive landscape knowledge. This includes information about citywide events or other large group bookings which may affect the hotel. Personally source, qualify, and book new business for the hotel. Respond to RFPs and other inquiries. Show a desire to continually drive new business in a creative manner, never settling for less than our targeted goals. This position will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. Qualifications A minimum of two years as Sales Coordinator, responsible for multiple segments within a hotel environment. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others. Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Possess excellent presentation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literacy to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to comprehend, read, write and speak English fluently.
