The Design Showroom Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting with customers in our showroom to determine their design/project needs in the selection of tile, wood, stone, countertops and flooring. Our customers can be walk-in, by phone or email. Our team is on salary so there is no need to fight for commissions. We cultivate an amazing team environment working together to serve our customers. If you enjoy being helpful with customer service, are a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, with the need to continue learning then Contract Furnishings Mart (CFM) will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success as our next Interior Design Showroom Representative. We're looking for someone who takes pride in helping clients solve their project needs, from start to finish. Your daily motivation is to create and maintain trusting and long-lasting relationships that keep customers coming back year after year. What you'll do: Sell flooring, tile/stone, countertops and cabinets and their coordinating maintenance and installation products Greet customers on the sales floor, listen to their wants and needs and educate them on the best solution Keep up-to-date on the wide selection of products we offer, along with the pros and cons of each product to help our customers make informed decisions Be part of a greater team and work together to ensure customer satisfaction Build relationships with customers and client base to earn their trust Place orders with suppliers and manufacturers Maintain organization, cleanliness and general aesthetic in the showroom in a professional manner What you'll bring: Background in design, construction, showroom and/or education in interior design Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Time management skills and the ability to follow-through Motivations to exceed expectations and taking initiative Flexible attitude, team oriented, highly personable and positive attitude Proficient in basic math skills Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to lift 10-25 pounds to replace samples of products back into place Ability to be on your feet standing for periods of time What we bring: CFM is a fun, fast-paced, family-owned wholesale company who sells flooring, tile, countertops and cabinets.
