Powers has a strong partnership with Home Depot, and through that partnership is growing notable presence in Western Oregon, and is seeking to hire another dynamic sales professionals to join our family. Our goal is to align with the type of sales person who is low pressure, friendly, great at listening and who is comfortable with in-home sales appointments. The ideal candidate has face-to-face or in-home sales experience, and is eager to learn how to verbally articulate the benefits of a bathroom remodel, through the lens of a Design Consultant. Every prospective customer is vetted by the Appointments Team, which greatly increase the sales capture rate and gives the opportunity to earn strong commission income every 2x weeks. Company Celebrations Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients.
  • Assist customers in selecting, and purchasing, products that meet both the Customers desire and functionality of the remodel.
  • Use a tape measure to document various sizes & dimensions at each appointment, and capture the image of the size with a cell phone or iPad camera, then upload into OneClick Contractor.
  • Utilize basic math skills for check handling and processing transactions accurately, through the Home Depot system or when depositing an actual paper check in the bank.
  • Collaborate with customers to create customized design plans for their spaces.
  • Drive to set appointments, meet with the Customer for 30-90 minutes, with the goal of having a signed agreement for a shower remodel.
  • Complete & send a Proposal after every appointment via OneClick Contractor.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in face-to-face selling, preferably in a home improvement or design-related field, but any good sales professional can be taught how to represent our Company and make many sales.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, with an emphasis on appointment follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and digitally.
  • Basic math & finance skills, to discuss payment & financing options with the Customer.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, and NEVER argue with a Customer.
  • Passion for creating beautiful spaces and earning great commission by doing it.
