Summary The Inside Sales position is responsible for supporting customers and Field Sales by providing product knowledge and ensuring timely responses during the sales cycle. This role allows Cascade to grow our business and strengthen our position in the market. As an Inside Sales rep, the role supports multiple external and internal customers, primarily in the North America region. This is an exempt (not eligible for overtime) individual contributor (no direct reports) position, but collaboration and communication between coworkers is paramount. This role requires energy, initiative, and critical thinking to achieve goals. This role works in partnership with Customers, Territory Managers, Manufacturing staff, as well as other department personnel. Externally the position interacts with customers and other outside personnel connected to the selling process. Essential Job Functions Work directly with field sales and customers to process all inquiries and orders via phone and email. Provide direct communication with customers regarding applications and product features. Act as a liaison between the customer and all Cascade departments as needed to help ensure total customer satisfaction. Recommend products and provide quotations for Cascade products. Enter and verify orders for accuracy as orders are placed, and work with manufacturing to hit expected ship dates. Provide all information on shipped, open, and future orders per requests. Identify customer problems with Cascade products and attachments, and work with the appropriate department to make sure they are resolved. Recommend process improvements to increase job efficiency and accuracy. Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering or similar field. 2-5 years of customer service experience in a related field. Written and oral fluency in Spanish is a strong plus. Understanding of customer and market requirements, and a passion for total customer satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Proven record to work cohesively with others in a team environment. Ability to cultivate and build strong relationships through phone and email. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Adept at making decisions with sound judgment, quickly and effectively. Knowledge of Cascade products preferred. Knowledge of an industrial manufacturing facility in the transportation or heavy equipment market preferred. Knowledge of lift trucks (mobile hydraulics/lift truck systems) preferred.
