Couriers in the delivery and last-mile industries use our software daily to maintain operational efficiency and achieve high customer satisfaction. Role and Responsibilities As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed sales.You will:
Conduct research to identify and generate new leads. Initiate contact with potential customers through various communication channels (e.g., phone, email). Qualify leads and conduct initial sales presentation. Schedule product demonstrations between prospects and Sales Representatives. Develop a strong understanding of our products/services and effectively communicate their value to potential customers. Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives to ensure a smooth transition of leads. Update and manage lead information in the CRM system accurately. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong research skills and the ability to gather and analyze information about potential clients. Persistence, creativity, and a committed mentality to achieve targets. An understanding of buyer personas and basic sales principles is a plus, but not required. Eagerness to learn and grow within the sales field.Success in this role requires:
A high degree of self-discipline, time management, and independence. The ability to work effectively without direct supervision, maintaining a structured daily schedule. Staying focused on goals and deadlines while adapting to changing priorities. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams to stay connected with the team. Regular participation in virtual team meetings and ongoing engagement with colleagues. Career Path Upon meeting performance goals, SDRs can progress through the following career path:Sales Representative:
Focus on converting leads provided by SDRs into opportunities and setting up further engagements such as product demonstrations and deal negotiation.Business Development Representative:
Create strategic partnerships and expand the company's reach into new markets, working closely with marketing and product teams.Account Executive:
Take on greater responsibilities, including managing larger accounts and more complex deals, with a focus on closing transactions that generate significant revenue for the company.
