Founded in 2015, East Fork maintains a resolute commitment to environmental responsibility, science-based education, and social justice. East Fork is seeking a talented, passionate and self-directed Administrative and Sales Coordinator to join our team. This position is an in-person role located in Portland.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative and Sales Coordinator is the glue that holds East Fork's admin, HR, finance, and sales operations together with unyielding support. Duties include customer service, local deliveries, preparing cash and check deposits, accounts receivable outreach, project management, and record keeping. The role regularly touches on multiple organizational functions and requires someone with a strong attention to detail, a nimble mind, and a positive attitude.
OUTCOMES
(In order of priority) Support East Fork's general business operations. Support sales, customer service, fulfillment, and general administrative functions. Support accounts receivable and payable, help prepare cash and check deposits.
Customer service and support:
Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information, addressing concerns, and processing orders. Occasionally make outbound calls.
In-person deliveries and sales support:
Coordinate and make in-person deliveries of products to clients, including flower showings and trade sample drops. Maintain knowledge of East Fork's products to support retail partners. Oversee cleanliness, supplies and organization of the Portland facility. Support East Fork's administrative, HR, and finance functions. Refine processes, workflows, and SOPs to drive operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (both OLCC and ODA). Support other team members as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Prior experience in sales administration, customer service, or a related field preferred Strong communication skills and a healthy sense of humor Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Trello Ability to perform physical labor Current driver's license and OLCC handler's permit (or ability to obtain one)
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Starting wage: $22-24/hour depending on experience Paid vacation: 0.04 hours accrued per hour worked, up to 80 hours per year Paid sick time: 40 hours per year Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day Health insurance: Partially subsidized plan Dental insurance: Fully subsidized plan Retirement savings: East Fork administers a retirement savings plan through OregonSaves
WORK SCHEDULE, RELATIONSHIPS AND CULTURE
Schedule :
The Administrative and Sales Coordinator should average close to 40 hours per week. This role is in person at our Portland office and expected to be present and generally available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F.
Relationships :
The Administrative and Sales Coordinator will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the Operations Director, OLCC Warehouse manager, and Hemp Warehouse Manager.
Travel:
This position requires a limited amount of travel. Use of a company vehicle is available for errands and deliveries. Trips to the East Fork farm in Southern Oregon may be required occasionally.

Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
