We help homeowners make their homes more comfortable, efficient, and healthy through whole-home energy upgrades — energy assessments, insulation, air sealing, HVAC and heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, weatherization, and electrification. We believe in fixing the house first: we diagnose how a home actually performs, then recommend right-sized solutions that lower energy bills and improve comfort for the long term. And we make those upgrades affordable by maximizing incentives through Energy Trust of Oregon and related programs. About the Role We're hiring an experienced sales consultant to run home performance consultations across the Portland metro — bidding jobs, building estimates, and guiding homeowners from the first visit to a signed agreement. You'll work directly with the owners, take measurements and run diagnostics in the field (attics, crawl spaces, and HVAC systems), build estimates in ServiceTitan, and manage your own pipeline. This is a consultative, high-ticket sales role for someone who knows how to close — and who genuinely cares about doing the work right. What You'll Do Run in-home consultations and energy assessments with homeowners across the Portland metro Take field measurements and use diagnostic equipment (blower door, duct testing) to evaluate home performance Inspect attics, crawl spaces, and HVAC systems to scope the right improvements Build accurate, detailed estimates and proposals in ServiceTitan Present clear recommendations — scope, pricing, energy savings, and available incentives Maximize Energy Trust of Oregon (and related) incentives to lower homeowner cost and win the job Own your pipeline from first appointment to signed agreement, with consistent follow-up Build lasting customer relationships and generate referrals Hit and exceed monthly sales targets Work closely with the owners and hand off cleanly to the install team What You Bring (Required) Proven sales experience with a track record of closing — in-home / outside sales strongly preferred Comfortable with high-ticket, consultative, needs-based selling Self-motivated and organized, with disciplined pipeline and follow-up habits Strong communicator — able to explain technical findings in plain language homeowners trust Comfortable working in the field, including attics and crawl spaces Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record Able to run appointments across the Portland metro, including some evenings/weekends as needed Nice to Have (We'll Train the Right Person) Home performance, HVAC, solar, weatherization, or related trade experience BPI certification or building-science knowledge Familiarity with Energy Trust of Oregon or utility incentive programs ServiceTitan experience Second-language fluency is a strong asset when serving our diverse customer base We'll train the right person on the building science, diagnostics, and incentive programs. What matters most is that you can sell and that you truly care about the customer. Compensation & Benefits Base salary (DOE): $40,000-$52,000/year — set by experience Uncapped commission on top of base — on-target earnings (OTE) of $90,000-$145,000/year Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Continuing education Why Resilient Retrofits Mission-driven work — help Portland homeowners cut energy waste, improve comfort, and live in healthier homes "Fix the house first" approach — you'll sell genuinely good work, not just equipment A strong incentive landscape (Energy Trust of Oregon, federal tax credits) makes upgrades affordable and deals easier to close A small, growing team where your work has a direct, visible impact How to Apply Apply through Indeed, or reach out to Kyle directly:
