Job Description

Summary:
The Inside Parts Sales Representative is a skilled customer service professional who handles customer issues, parts or service sales, capitalizes on opportunities to up-sell additional parts or service, and communicates effectively with customers across various channels. They often are required to interact with Sales, Engineering, and Shipping departments to ensure customer issue resolution and timely manufacturing and delivery of customer orders.
Key responsibilities:
Responding to customer inquiries: Address customer questions and concerns via phone, email, or chat, providing clear and concise solutions to non-technical problems.
Resolving complex issues:
Handle unusual or difficult customer requests that may require customized solutions, including research and collaboration with other departments.
Providing information to customers:
Clearly communicate requested information to customers, ensuring their understanding of the situation and proposed solutions.
Parts and Service sales:
Research, Identify, quote, and sell parts requested by customers and look for opportunities to suggest complimentary parts not requested by the customer.
Updating internal teams:
Share customer feedback and insights with relevant teams to improve service quality and identify areas for improvement.
Analyzing customer needs:
Assess customer service requirements to provide tailored solutions and ensure their satisfaction.
Required skills and qualifications:
Excellent communication skills: Ability to listen actively, understand customer needs, and communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Problem-solving skills:
Capability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.
Product knowledge:
Understanding of SSI's products, services, and policies to provide accurate information.
Customer service experience:
Proven track record of successfully resolving customer issues and providing excellent service.
Technical skills:
Familiarity with enterprise resource program (ERP), Syteline 10, Microsoft Office products, and other relevant software.

Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Market Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information ,
Multi-tasking Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Able to lift 20 - 30 lbs
