Job Description
Forward Pickleball is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Membership Experience & Sales Coordinator to help us continue building the premier pickleball community in the region. This role is ideal for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating exceptional member experiences. We are not simply looking for someone to work the front desk, we are looking for someone who can engage members, drive participation, generate sales, and help grow our community. What You'll DoMember Experience Welcome members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Build relationships with members and learn their goals, interests, and playing preferences. Actively connect players to programs, leagues, clinics, and events that fit their skill level and interests. Ensure every member feels valued and engaged when entering and leaving the facility. Assist with member retention efforts and follow-up communications. Sales & Business Development Promote memberships, leagues, clinics, lessons, tournaments, and special events. Identify opportunities to increase member participation and program enrollment. Recommend products from our Pro Shop and assist members with equipment needs. Convert first-time visitors into repeat customers and members. Support corporate events, community partnerships, and promotional initiatives. Programming & Innovation Contribute new ideas for leagues, social events, tournaments, and member engagement activities. Help develop creative programming that keeps our offerings fresh and exciting. Stay informed on pickleball trends and identify opportunities to improve the member experience. Think proactively about ways to grow participation and strengthen our community. Operations & Technology Manage registrations, reservations, and member accounts using CourtReserve. Assist with daily facility operations and administrative tasks. Maintain accurate records and ensure a smooth customer experience. Support event setup, check-in, and execution. Marketing & Social Media (Preferred) Capture photos and videos during events and programming. Assist with social media content creation and member spotlights. Help promote upcoming events and programs through digital channels. Qualifications Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Sales, membership, hospitality, retail, or fitness industry experience preferred. High-energy personality with excellent communication skills. Comfortable engaging with members of all ages and skill levels. Weekend availability is required. Candidates who are unable to work weekends will not be considered. Experience with CourtReserve or similar scheduling software is a plus. Social media and content creation experience is a plus. Pickleball experience is helpful but not required.
