Sales Representative (Restaurant SaaS - High-Grit Role)

Breadcrumbs Read this before you apply This is not an easy sales job. You will spend most of your day: Walking into restaurants unannounced Making cold calls that don't get answered Following up with owners who are too busy to respond Getting ignored, brushed off, or told "not now" The company is early. We are not a known brand. There are no inbound leads waiting for you. Restaurant owners are some of the hardest people to reach—and even harder to get time from. And yet, we have a product that can save them thousands of dollars per month and give them back time they don't have. Most just don't realize it yet—or don't feel like they have time to look. If that sounds frustrating, it is. If it sounds like a nightmare, this is not the role for you. What you'll actually be doing Prospecting local restaurants daily (in-person, phone, and text) Building relationships with owners and operators over time Running short, direct conversations that lead to fast decisions Closing deals—often in a single conversation Handing off new customers to onboarding Tracking activity and managing your pipeline with discipline Wearing multiple hats as part of an early-stage team This is a high-activity, high-accountability role . What makes this worth it The product works. Customers regularly see 2-4% increases in profit , often translating to thousands of dollars per month. When an owner adopts Breadcrumbs, you will be seen as the person who helped fix a real problem in their business . This can be a one-call close —no long enterprise sales cycles. Commission accelerates quickly for those who produce. You'll be part of building a category-defining AI company from the ground up.
Compensation Base salary:
modest (this is a performance-driven role)
Commission:
uncapped with strong accelerators High performers will significantly out-earn their base Who should NOT apply If you need inbound leads to succeed If rejection slows you down If you're looking for structure, hand-holding, or brand recognition If you're uncomfortable walking into a business and starting a conversation If you've never had to create your own pipeline Who this is for You've consistently exceeded sales targets in a cold or self-sourced environment You're comfortable hearing "no" 50 times to get 5 real conversations You take pride in outworking and outlasting the competition You like being early and building something from scratch You've sold into restaurants or SMBs (strong plus) You care more about results than activity theater Basic Qualifications 1-5+ years of sales experience (preferably in SMB or field sales) Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota Strong communication skills (clear, direct, no fluff) Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Willingness to be in the field daily How to apply If this role sounds like a grind you're excited about—not afraid of—we'd like to hear from you.
