Job Description

If you're ready for a new challenge and have a minimum of 2 years of business ownership or sales experience, we're looking for dynamic individuals to join our team as Business Development Representatives. This exciting opportunity allows you to collaborate with a local LED lighting contractor while balancing another part-time or full-time job.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting:
Reach out to Business Owners, Facilities Managers, or decision-makers on a daily basis at local businesses within a 10-mile radius of your physical location.
Lighting Assessments:
Set or complete at least 3 lighting assessments per week, some of which may be company-issued.
Proposal Presentation:
Review LED lighting proposals with your contacts at local businesses and assist in closing sales through financing or other available tools.
Follow-up:
Conduct timely follow-ups with all proposals reviewed, aiming to close the sale.
Collaboration:
Review weekly successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, seeking sales support as needed. Recognize that administrative support personnel are invested in your success.
Requirements:
Experience:
At least 2 years of Business-to-Business direct sales experience.
Self-Motivation:
Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
CRM Experience:
Familiarity with CRMs, preferably HubSpot.
Communication Skills:
Outgoing personality with excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to develop relationships, particularly with Facility Managers, Business Owners, Presidents, and CEOs.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation is a must.
Availability:
Immediate availability to start work and the ability to work 10-20 hours per week.
Meeting Attendance:
Attend weekly sales meetings at a location to be determined.

Compensation:
1099 Commission position with 80% of commission paid upon receipt of the customer's deposit.
