Job Description
Rick Weaver Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Business Development / Customer Service Representative (BDC Rep) to join our dealership team. This role is the first point of contact for many customers and plays a critical role in driving appointments, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting the sales department. BDC/Customer Representative will be responsible for handling internet leads, as well as confirming sales appointments and performing long-term follow-up on all customers (e.g., internet leads, outgoing and incoming calls). This individual will strive to generate repeat business by reaching out to past / future customers, ensuring that we can handle any for their sales needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or in person) Manage Internet sales leads, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and answer questions on available vehicles Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business Manage vehicles in our Courtesy Transportation Program using GM OnTRAC Service cashier assistant (closing repair orders and collecting payments) Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and online leads Schedule sales appointments and confirm show rates Provide accurate information about vehicles, pricing, availability, and promotions Follow up with prospective and existing customers using CRM tools Maintain detailed and accurate customer records Work closely with sales consultants and managers to ensure smooth handoffs Deliver a professional, friendly, and positive customer experience at all times Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals Handle basic customer questions and concerns with professionalismJob Requirements:
VinSolutions CRM experience a plus Requires strong communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers Must be Internet savvy, have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills Prior experience in automotive BDC, call center, customer service, or sales (preferred but not required) Strong communication skills—both verbal and written Excellent phone skills and professional demeanor Comfortable working with CRM systems, email, and texting platforms Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Goal-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Must be at least 19 years of age with a valid driver's license and a high school diploma/GED.Job Type:
