Summary of the
Position:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for Nutramax. Your primary responsibilities will include top-of-funnel lead qualification and management, customer management, outside sales support, and maintaining a strong customer service orientation. You will be an integral part of our sales team, working closely with both customers and outside sales personnel at all levels to ensure a seamless sales process and exceptional customer experiences
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with veterinary clinics via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Understand customer needs and pain points to recommend suitable products or services. Distribute sales and marketing materials in coordination with marketing and outside sales. Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional products or services to existing customers. Maintain a sales pipeline in the CRM system to meet funnel KPIs. Support outside sales by managing customer inquiries, enhancing client relationships, and driving clinic interest to generate high potential leads for the sales team. Work closely with marketing teams to align messaging and promotional efforts with customer needs. Execute marketing campaigns, special offers, and promotions to generate interest and sales. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales progress, contact and clinic information. Develop and execute strategies to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn. Utilize various lead generation sources to identify and qualify potential customers. Use outbound channels to initiate contact with leads and assess their needs and buying potential. Nurture leads through follow-up communication and convert them into sales opportunities. Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progression in the CRM system. Comply with privacy policy and ensure ethical and legal sales practices. Ensure all customer interactions reflect the highest level of professionalism and customer-centricity. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively. Continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience and build long-term relationships Must be able to effectively communicate with other departments and function within a team environment. Regular attendance is required Perform other assigned duties as may be required within meeting company objectives
Minimum Requirements:
Goal-oriented with a passion for inside sales, seeks out feedback and thrives in a culture of accountability. Core skills of customer service orientation, initiative, planning and follow up, work management, and judgment/problem solving. Able to be on telephone or other virtual platforms for a full working day and speak clearly and effectively to all assigned customers. The ability to develop strong professional relationships in a dynamic and challenging environment. Demonstrated digital acumen and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 0-3 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience; OR Six years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Veterinary or Human Health Sciences preferred.
