Description Nurselect is a growing healthcare staffing and recruiting firm serving healthcare organizations throughout Pennsylvania. We specialize in connecting healthcare facilities with qualified nurses, allied health professionals, medical assistants, clinical leaders, and healthcare support staff. We are looking for a motivated, coachable, and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in business-to-business sales, healthcare staffing, recruiting, or account management. You do not need extensive sales experience—we are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Position Overview As a Sales Development Representative, you will work directly with company leadership to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, build relationships with healthcare organizations, and support client development efforts throughout Pennsylvania. This is a hands-on sales role that will involve prospecting, cold calling, networking, client visits, and learning the healthcare staffing industry from the ground up. The ideal candidate enjoys talking to people, is comfortable picking up the phone, and wants to develop professional sales skills in a growing company. Responsibilities
Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and networking.
Research healthcare facilities and identify key decision makers.
Schedule meetings with Administrators, Directors of Nursing, HR Directors, Executive Directors, and healthcare leadership teams.
Assist with client visits and sales presentations.
Attend networking events, chamber events, healthcare conferences, and community events.
Build and maintain prospect lists and CRM records.
Follow up with leads and nurture prospective clients.
Learn healthcare staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions.
Partner with recruiters to understand staffing needs and candidate pipelines.
Support business development initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Assist with proposals, staffing agreements, and client onboarding activities.
Help grow Nurselect's presence throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
6 months to 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, staffing, hospitality, retail management, administrative support, or related fields preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with people over the phone and in person.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for meetings and networking events.
