Used Car Sales Representative responsibilities Answer questions related to auto sales contracts and financing options while coordinating with the sales manager and finance service department Able to close his / her own deals without issues or help unless need be from management Employ customer service and negotiation skills to close used car deals while delivering an optimal sales experience Accompany auto sales customers on test drives that you arrange Create a positive auto sales experience by taking a knowledgeable approach to presenting used car features, options, and differentiating characteristics Take a professional approach to your role as a sales associate, whether working with customers in the showroom or collaborating with team members at sales meetings Used Car Sales Representative qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent At least one year working as a sales associate, preferably in a dealership setting, is necessary Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record is required Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and an outgoing personality are critical Have an interest and knowledge in used car features, auto sales trends, car dealerships' processes, financing options, and sales management
