Job Description

Inside Sales/Scheduler - Commercial Hoods An Inside Sales/Scheduler for a commercial hood cleaning business drives revenue by cold-calling restaurants, scheduling free site inspections, and selling recurring, NFPA-compliant kitchen hood & exhaust cleaning contracts. They build rapport with restaurant managers, overcome objections, and use some type of CRM tool to follow up on leads and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business. Pay is starting at $24.50 per hour.

Commercial Hood & Exhaust Cleaning Reports To:
Owner Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Proactively call, email, and connect with commercial kitchen managers, restaurant owners, and food service directors to build a pipeline.
Relationship Management:
Establish rapport and trust, turning "gatekeepers" into contacts and decision-makers into clients.
Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule free site inspections for the outside sales team or directly secure service agreements with clients.
Sales Closing:
Negotiate service contracts for recurring (monthly/quarterly) cleaning cycles, emphasizing safety, compliance, and quality.
CRM Management:
Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, update prospect information, and follow up diligently on cold/warm leads.
Technical Knowledge:
Understand NFPA standards to explain the importance of cleaning and compliance to prospects.
Crew Assignments:
Assign crews and communicate expected service dates and new client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in B2B sales, telemarketing, or lead generation (restaurant industry experience is a plus).
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical cleaning benefits and build rapport.
Sales Persistence:
Ability to handle rejection and persistently call prospects to secure appointments.
Technology Proficiency:
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
Goal-Oriented:
A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of calls/emails per day. Number of qualified meetings/site inspections scheduled. Conversion rate of leads to signed contracts. Total revenue generated (recurring vs. one-time).
