Role Description:

In conjunction with the Home Decor Sales Designers and other department personnel, the individual in this role will assist with the costing and auditing of purchase orders as well as the logistics of customer orders from payment to receipt of products and materials. This role acts as a liaison between designers, vendors, customers, and contractors effectively communicating to ensure projects remain organized. The individual in this position will also be responsible for enhancing the Wehrung's customer experience. This position also includes selling flooring and tile which will add additional growth to the home décor department.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with order coordination and logistics including the tracking, in Excel, of all newly purchased and in process orders.
• Update POS generated orders from the cost/sell logs given for each order placed by a designer or sales assistant.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, greeting customers as they enter the showroom, assisting customers with questions and immediate needs, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain a tidy, well-stocked, and up to date showroom with current product literature.
• Understand available products including features, pricing, and services
• Sell, process, and update customer orders as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Strong organization and time management - Ability to organize and track multiple projects and orders simultaneously
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to handle high stress situations and identify, analyze, and resolve challenges
• Previous retail experience (preferred)
• Strong math skills

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous expediter and/or sales experience, preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting
• Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
