Pay:
$50,000 - $80,000+ per year Up to a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Employee discounts Paid training and professional development Career advancement opportunities within CarShop and Penske Automotive Group Supportive team environment focused on growth and success What You'll Do As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers find the right vehicle to fit their needs while delivering an exceptional buying experience. Responsibilities include: Assist customers in identifying and selecting the vehicle that best meets their transportation needs Guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery Respond promptly to phone, internet, and showroom inquiries Greet and assist customers in the dealership and on the lot Build strong customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals Follow the CarShop sales process and embody our values of integrity, teamwork, and customer care Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain engagement Work collaboratively with team members to deliver an outstanding customer experience Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on current inventory and promotions Continuously develop sales and customer service skills What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal and communication skills Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality Passion for achieving goals and delivering exceptional customer service Ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient with computers, email, text messaging, and technology platforms Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales experience preferred Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to integrity and professionalism Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing Ready to Accelerate Your Career? Light Work- lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. This position requires a good deal of walking or standing, 50 percent of the time or greater will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift This position may include prolonged periods of sitting with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls This position requires climb, stoop, and kneel This position requires the ability to hear and talk This position requires the ability to have sufficient foot/hand/eye coordination to safely drive a vehicle Will spend time out-doors, under varying climate conditions, subject to the elements, and may experience extreme heat and extreme cold and will also spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas During winter months, will assist in cleaning vehicles from snow if applicable to the local climate ⁠ Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Schedule may vary from week to week depending on operational needs. Works evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. ⁠ Required Education and Experience No prior experience or training is required High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience ⁠ Preferred Education and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations) Valid Driver's License Driving Record the meets insurance requirements and company policy Current and active Sales License, in states where applicable
