Job Description

Business Development Coordinator - Hidden River Credit Union Pottsville, PA Hidden River Credit Union , an over 220-million-dollar credit union located in Pottsville, PA, is currently seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. The Business Development Coordinator will perform relationship development efforts with a focus on building and strengthening partnerships, supporting new business growth, marketing initiatives, and serving as a point of contact for the credit union's community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Community Engagement Serve as the primary contact for new consumers and enhance existing development relationships and community partners. Identify and cultivate opportunities for growing the membership and promote credit union products and services. Onboard new community partners and maintain strong, ongoing relationships. Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective and existing individuals. Act as a liaison for relationship development initiatives and community-based programs. Prospect and develop new partnerships through networking and active community involvement. Propose, implement, monitor, and evaluate business development programs. Assist in the development and implementation of credit union products and services. Represent the credit union at community events, networking functions, and public relations opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and member relationships. Actively participate in local organizations, outreach initiatives, and community programs to promote engagement and support the credit union's mission. Marketing & Communications Coordinate and execute virtual and in-person educational seminars and presentations. Create, edit, and distribute marketing and business development communications. Develop promotional materials for community partners and internal initiatives. Maintain a portfolio of business development materials and promotional pieces. Manage and organize promotional items and supplies to ensure adequate inventory. Collect information and data to expand digital and technological prospects. Conduct research on industry marketing trends and provide analysis and recommendations. Recommend and support marketing strategies aligned with the credit union's marketing plan. Assist and collaborate with the marketing department on projects, campaigns, and communications. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to members and partners. Operational & General Duties Track, measure, and report on business development activities and outcomes. Develop and maintain data, market information, and related reports. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and credit union policies. Participate in product and service assessment and development. Establish objectives related to business development and marketing efforts. Complete required training, certifications, and continuing education. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications & Skills 1-3 years of credit union experience. 2+ years of marketing and communications experience. Strong interpersonal skills, public speaking ability, and commitment to excellent member service. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong editing capabilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and Word. Experience in graphic design, web development, and electronic communications. SEO experience preferred. Work Requirements Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required. Attend conferences, seminars, and other professional development opportunities.
