Sales Coordinator

Company Overview:

Structural Modular Innovations (SMI Homes) is seeking a Sales Coordinator to assist the Sales Manager and Zone Managers (sales) in daily operations and activities related to Marketing and Sales Programs at SMI Homes. If you have a background and/or knowledge in general construction, this role may be right for you.

Essential Duties:

As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks assigned by the Sales Manager. You'll work closely with the SMI Zone Managers (sales), dealers, builders, drafting, production, and other team members to make the sales tasks run smoothly, efficiently, and more productively.

Responsibilities:

Quote / Price homes as directed by the Sales Manager. Answer all overflow calls for Zone Managers (sales). When Zone Managers (sales) are not available, take customer orders as needed. Compile information for Home of the Month / Option of the Month. Run competitive reviews at the request of the Sales Manager. Assists in costing as needed and directed by the Sales Manager. Assist in the development of new product offerings. Checks account receivables for past-due amounts. Reports problems to the Sales Manager. Assist in the training of new Zone Managers (sales). Helps track samples and build sample boards. Great work ethic.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 - 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of both. Strong proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word and Excel. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. Sales support and customer service experience are a plus. Ability to prioritize work efficiently. Extreme organizational skills.
