Job Description

Position Summary The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small to mid-sized accounts through proactive outreach, relationship building, and solution-based selling. This role focuses on driving revenue, increasing customer retention, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities within an assigned territory or customer base. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage a high volume of accounts efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of small business accounts, serving as the primary point of contact Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage customers and drive sales Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or solutions Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs Develop and execute account plans to grow revenue within existing customers Qualify inbound leads and convert them into active customers Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (pipeline, activities, forecasts) Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and field sales teams to support customer growth Handle customer inquiries, objections, and basic issue resolution in a timely manner Monitor account activity and proactively re-engage inactive or at-risk customers Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years of sales, inside sales, or account management experience Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience handling a high volume of accounts or transactions Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Strong time management and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience selling to small businesses (SMB segment) Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling approaches Experience in manufacturing, distribution, etc. Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities Key Competencies Customer-focused mindset Resilience and persistence Strong problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Collaboration and teamwork Results-driven and goal-oriented Performance Metrics Revenue growth within assigned accounts Quota attainment Number of outbound activities (calls, emails, meetings) Conversion rates (lead to customer, upsell success) Customer retention and satisfaction Reporting Structure Reports to: Inside Sales Manager Works closely with: Marketing, Customer Service, Field Sales, and Operations Work Environment Onsite in Telford Office High-volume, fast-paced sales environment Regular use of phone, email, and CRM tools
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
