Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative, under the guidance of the Inside Sales Manager and working closely with the AG and EC Sales Team, will service a defined group of existing Agricultural & EC accounts and prospects completing the responsibilities listed below towards the primary goal of profitable sales growth, accurate order entry and follow up, timely customer responses, and fully adhering to the Superior Sales Program. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Inside Sales Capable of all sales and customer service functions including telephone calls, order entry and order editing for all AG BU and EC BU accounts. Additional key contact through communication for a group of existing AG BU accounts to be defined by the Sales Manager
  • Agricultural. Make a minimum of 2
  • 5 customer contacts each day, which includes prospecting, quoting, follow up on existing quotes, or communicating with existing accounts.
Record each customer interaction in the CRM (Salesforce).
Provide input for:
Annual Sales Forecast
  • Keep 6 months forecast for customers in our software updated monthly. Safety Stock Levels
  • AG BU. Competitive Pricing/Product Analysis
  • Working closely with Marketing.
Market Share Reports. Quote existing and new product profitably. Identify customer and prospects products including knowledge of all current platforms that use Superior Tires products. Understands customers organization personnel (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality/Warranty). Non-current account prospecting (Ex. Existing accounts). Be familiar with Syteline functions in estimating, new part quoting, BOM generation, pricing matrix and x-reference pricing as well as sales reports as needed for account management. To be the primary Aftermarket back-up contact for all AG BU Aftermarket accounts. Self-efficient in prioritizing and handling various projects simultaneously with Energy and Enthusiasm. Key Performance Factors Sales growth as assigned annually for the
AG & EC BU.
Participation in monthly AG/EC sales meetings. Identify targeted account growth and help prospecting at new/existing accounts. Follow up on all active quotes; closing opportunities as quickly as possible and reporting on why quotes were not closed. Order accuracy and throughput tracked for quality and improvements.

Base Job Requirements:
2 + years of order entry, customer service, and/or inside selling experience. Proven completion of formal sales training (Internal or External); CRM experience preferred. Competent in the MS Office suite of tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Ability to represent Superior Tire to customers via telephone and/or email in a professional manner.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full Time Non-Exempt 40 hours per week. 1st shift 7am-4pm Monday-Friday Overtime as needed
