In this role, you will manage all internal group operations and drive group departure sales. Key responsibilities include securing group leaders, relationship building, selling tours or cruises, and negotiating with suppliers. You will work closely with internal teams, external clients, airlines, cruise lines, and motorcoach companies.
Key Responsibilities Package Creation:
Build group travel packages including transport and accommodations.
Pricing Strategy:
Value packages for maximum profitability and sale-ability.
Sales Growth:
Pitch organizations to secure new group departures and increase revenue.
Financial Reconciliation:
Invoice clients and reconcile accounts in the Campana system.
Marketing Support:
Assist with creating promotional material across diverse media.
Team Training:
Educate travel agents on group processes and escort duties.
Event Hosting:
Run destination briefing meetings and manage passenger send-offs.
Trip Escorting:
Escort AAA group departures directly when requested.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Previous related travel training or industry experience.
Communication:
Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
Tech Literacy:
Proficiency operating a personal computer.
Availability:
Flexible to work nights and weekends as required.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
